Trend : Lace

From left to right: Brioni, Alberta Ferretti, D&G, Dolce and Gabbana, Erdem

Lace was another big, girly trend I picked up on, especially in Milan. I actually think that lace-making is a traditional italian craft, so that is probably why it was so popular in Milan. White lace has a sweet inocent look. I particularly love the lace trousers from D&G which are interesting way to wear the lace. I'd wear floral tights underneath so you could just see the print showing though.

Black lace still has a girlish look but with a harder edge. My favourite look here is Oscar De La Renta.
