Pink skirt, mint tee

This skirt completely saw through the summer. I made it myself, inspired by the ones in American  Apparel, but theirs are crazy overpriced. My friend Han actually said to me 'Did you make that?' and I replied 'Oh no, it doesn't look homemade does it?' and she said 'No, but the only place you'd get a skirt like that is American Apparel, and as if you'd pay their prices' which I don't really know how to take.

It's really lovely to wear in the sun because the floatyness makes for a nice breeze. It's a bit see thru though, so I wear my H&M cycling shorts underneath. I have worn it with pretty much everything but I'm wearing it with my leopard print burn out tee from Primark. I've seen load of people wearing the white version of this tee. They have some really good jersey in Primark at the moment, all for about £4.

I wore this outfit for a trip to the zoo, which I really enjoyed. They have a lot of enclosures that you can get close to the animals in, although a monkey tried to steal my phone. It was a bit chilly at the zoo so I have my coat on in all my pictures.

I'm thinking about doing a tutorial on how to make a skirt like this... would you be interested in that?
